Insight Gloves Christmas Competition​

With Christmas (and black Friday) coming up – and the launch of our new Insight 26 gloves (plus the Winter version!) – we’ve decided to run a competition to help riders improve their hands… which is exactly why the gloves were designed in the first place.

​

The gloves are brilliant for coaches and instructors to clearly see what’s happening with your hands, but if you follow my Pegasus Rider Physio social media pages, you’ll know it’s also about taking responsibility as a rider – increasing your understanding and awareness, not just following instructions.

When I first announced this competition on social media, looking for five riders wanting to improve their hand position, I was honestly amazed by the response. So many riders said they were struggling and wanted help.

So… I’ve decided not to stop at just five!

How the 6 Week Insight Hand Challenge Works

A structured series of short videos (theory + off-horse exercises) to help you:

✔ Find and maintain a functional neutral wrist (not stiff or braced)
✔ Use your fingers for rein feel rather than your wrist or whole arm
✔ Prevent your wrist compensating for shoulder, elbow issues
✔ Improve hand position and understanding how you self correct
✔ Understand how to follow the horse’s movement 
✔ Learn to self-analyse rather than relying on instructors/coaches

✨ The Insight Gloves give you real-time visual feedback.
🎓 The challenge teaches you how to interpret and respond to it.

Who Can Enter

This is ideal if you:

• Are regularly told to change what your hands are doing

• Find your hands worsen under pressure (nerves, fatigue, competing, concentration)

• Struggle with soft, consistent contact but don’t know how to change it

• Know what the problem is but not how to correct it

• Are willing to actively work on it and reflect weekly

 Any discipline welcome – dressage, jumping, eventing, hacking, schooling etc 
Open worldwide – the challenge is fully video-based
Smallest glove size available is XXS (equivalent to size 5.5)- size guide here
Under 18s welcome with parent/guardian permission

📌 You do NOT need a social media following – I am looking for riders who genuinely want to improve, not just create content. Weekly reflections and images will be submitted privately.

 Weekly Reflections (Challenge Requirement)

If you’re selected as one of the 5 riders:

📝 You’ll complete a short weekly reflection form (what you noticed, what improved, what you struggled with)
📸 You’ll upload at photo or video at 2/3 stages of the challenge (simple phone footage is fine)

Other riders who buy the gloves using the discount code will also receive access to the same reflection form if they’d like to track their own progress.
