Many riders end up riding with their wrists too close together and extended, often without realising it. This position can make the hands less stable and the rein contact less consistent as this changes the alignment from elbow to bit when looking from the front/above.

The aim is a more neutral wrist position - where the wrist, hand, and rein sit in a more natural alignment. This helps the rider maintain a steadier contact and clearer communication.

Thumb position is so important for how the hands work when riding.

A thumb twisted out or sitting off the rein means the small hand muscles have a much harder job stabilising the hand when the fingers need to give that elastic control.

The colours and lines on the Insight gloves help you see when the thumb is twisting or deviating to the side. The reinforced patch and touchscreen pad also make it easier to see which part of the thumb should be resting on the index finger.

It can completely change how the hand functions - even when everything else looks the same.

The black touchscreen thumb print on the glove is brilliant for two reasons.
From the ground it gives a clear visual of where the thumb is sitting, and for the rider it acts as a simple instruction - gently create a thumbprint on the reins, as if the ink is transferring.

I really wanted to cater for different types of riders with this one. Some riders love lots of visual information, and others just prefer the key cues – the things that keep them aware without feeling too focused on every detail.

The Core Casual keeps the essentials – the horizontal lines, the waist panels and the arm lines – but in a softer, more toned-down pattern for riders who like a calmer (and some would say more subtle 😂) visual feel.

Same comfort. Same fit. Still incredibly useful.

Just designed for riders who want that cleaner, more everyday look while still getting the important biomechanical reminders.

It’s a great starter Core Top, a brilliant addition to the range – and honestly just another fantastic training top to have!

Every single position you see here is one I’ve seen riders sit in during Rider Physio sessions – riders who genuinely thought they were straight.
